I have had black stools for the passed 8 weeks, quite possibly more What is going on and what does this mean? - black stool more condition_treatment

I had a problem with constipation before the new year, but my digestive system after it has been very different. Well, have a bowl movement usually once a day, once every two days, depending on what you've eaten.

My constipation is normal to 3-4 times per day. Well, I see black stools, I have not much Pepto Bismal maybe twice every two months, but beyond that, what is causing my stool black?

Even uninsured.

The first place to look for answers, it would be with your diet. What have you added / removed from their diets? Think carefully, especially if processed foods in their diet. It may be blood in the stool. Make an appointment with a doctor in your clinic.

Black stool can be caused by a number of things. First, if you have started taking iron supplements can certainly be a cause. If you eat a lot like spinach, lettuce. Food colors, can be a cause black stools. Pepto Bismol or other salicylates (aspirin products) can be related to the quantity, do you take on. I can only think that would be an upper gastrointestinal bleeding.
